Hello! I’m Michael, an East Midlands based photographer shooting fashion, advertising, lingerie, hair and beauty, swimwear.
I’m a proud BBC (British Born Chinese) and I credit this mesh of cultures for giving me a unique outlook on life. After all I see photography as about interpreting the world through my eyes.
Born to two chefs, food is the other big part of my life. I love cooking (and eating) and I think there are strong parallels with photography. In both cases, to create something special, you need to take the best ingredients and and put them together in just the right way.
My studio is in Nottingham but my assignments take me all over the UK and beyond – London to Edinburgh, Bristol to Hong Kong.
